20 Feb Law with respect to the introduction of the innovation income deduction (“IID”) published in the Belgian Official Gazette

The new Law with respect to the introduction of the innovation income deduction was published today in the Belgian Official Gazette.

This new tax incentive applies retroactively as of 1 July 2016 and offers interesting opportunities, especially for developers of software. The new incentive provides for a deduction of 85% of the net innovation income for corporate income tax purposes.
